How to Prioritize Your Well-Being as a Busy Mom

Byjacqueline.mitchell730 January 29, 2025

Hey there, I’m Jacqueline!

I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and like you’re constantly giving but never getting enough in return. As a wife and mom of 5, I’ve been in your shoes—feeling like I was running on empty, struggling to balance my family, my work, and my health. It wasn’t until I hit a breaking point that I realized something had to change.

In 2020, at 35, I knew I wasn’t living my healthiest life—physically or mentally. After researching, trying different things, and pushing myself to prioritize my well-being, I discovered a new approach that truly transformed my life. Today, I’m healthier, more energized, and more connected to my purpose, and I’m here to help you do the same.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re just surviving instead of thriving, you’re not alone. Whether you’re trying to regain your energy, find balance, or feel more confident, I’ve got you covered. My mission is simple: to help busy women like you nourish your mind, body, and soul so you can live a life full of joy, purpose, and vitality.

Welcome to a space where taking care of yourself is not just a luxury but a priority. I’m excited to guide you on this journey to feeling better—inside and out.

1. Set Boundaries to Protect Your Time

  • Explain why it’s essential to carve out time for self-care, even if it’s just 10-15 minutes a day.
  • Practical examples: A morning routine, a quiet moment after kids’ bedtime, etc.

2. Start Small with Healthy Habits

  • Encourage starting with one small habit, like drinking more water, moving for 10 minutes a day, or practicing a 5-minute meditation.
  • Emphasize that small changes add up and don’t require huge time commitments.

3. Get Your Family Involved

  • Share how you involve your kids or partner in wellness activities, whether it’s family walks, cooking healthy meals together, or making “family self-care” a regular event.
  • Tips for creating a family-oriented wellness routine.

4. Be Kind to Yourself

  • Discuss the importance of self-compassion, especially when balancing family and personal well-being.
  • Offer a reminder that perfection isn’t the goal—small progress is still progress.

Welcome to my blog!

This is just the beginning of something amazing!
